Manchester City midfielder Kevin Horlock today withdrew from the Northern Ireland squad to face Armenia on Saturday.

Horlock took the decision because of a family matter.

He becomes the third player this week to withdraw from the Irish squad for the Euro 2004 qualifier.

Defender Peter Kennedy and midfielder Phil Mulryne withdrew through injury.

Manager Sammy McIllroy has drafted in Southampton defender Chris Baird and Leyton Orient midfielder Kieran Toner from the under-21 squad.
