Leeds United footballer Eirik Bakke denied charges of drink-driving, driving without a licence and without insurance when he appeared before magistrates today.

Norwegian international Bakke, 25, is accused of driving a BMW car while over the drink-drive limit in Wike Ridge View – the road where he lives in the Alwoodley area of Leeds on January 14 this year.
