Lazio make UEFA last eight

Lazio reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup with a 5-4 aggregate win victory after winning 2-1 against Wisla Krakow in Poland.

The first leg in Rome had finished 3-3 and Lazio looked in danger of going out when Marcin Kuzba scored after four minutes.

But Roberto Mancini’s side replied through Portuguese international central defender Fernando Couto and striker Enrico Chiesa to set up a last eight clash with Turkish side Besiktas.
