Arsenal embarrassed by Fergie jibe

Arsenal have been left embarrassed by a public address announcement prior to their Champions League clash with Ajax at Highbury which amused home fans but may oblige the club to make an official apology to Manchester United.

Announcer Paul Burrell, who traditionally relays a ‘live pre-match chat’ with manager Arsene Wenger before all home games, explained on air that this was not possible for the Ajax game.
