Neville hits back at Cup digs

Manchester United defender Gary Neville has blasted back at suggestions that his England colleagues were more interested in this weekend’s FA Cup ties than Wednesday’s Upton Park showdown with Australia.

In the aftermath of England’s 3-1 defeat, goalkeeper David James claimed some of his team-mates had become distracted from their international commitments by the important club games which lie ahead.
