The SSE Airtricity Premier Division match between St Patrick's Athletic and Galway, which was due to take place on Friday evening, has been postponed due to an unplayable surface at Richmond Park. Following heavy rainfall, a pitch inspection was held at the Inchicore venue on Friday morning.

The clash Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers, the two most recent League of Ireland champions, has also been called off due to Tolka Park being unplayable.
