Crewe's Jones called up to NI squad

Crewe midfielder Steve Jones has been called up for Northern Ireland’s friendly against Finland on Wednesday at Windsor Park.

The uncapped Jones is in a rich vein of form for the Second Division club with seven goals in his last five games.

He replaces Manchester City’s Kevin Horlock, who withdrew from the squad after suffering a swollen knee in the 1-1 draw against Manchester United.
