Celtic confirm Broto deal
Celtic today confirmed they have completed the signing of Javier Sanchez Broto from Livingston.
Manager Martin O’Neill swooped for the former Airdrie and Malaga player to solve his goalkeeping problems.
A spokesman for the club confirmed: “We have completed the capture of Javier Sanchez Broto from Livingston, with the Spaniard signing for the remainder of the season.”
The Spaniard has signed with a view to a longer deal and looks set to be on the bench for tomorrow’s Tennent’s Scottish Cup third round tie against St Mirren with Magnus Hedman set to start in goal.
