Martin brothers help UCD climb table

Brothers John and Robbie Martin scored the goals as UCD jumped out of the bottom two for the first time since July to inflict a damaging defeat on Longford who now haven't won in 10 games.

A dreadfully poor first half was brought to life with the lead goal on 34 minutes.

Town failed to clear a College attack and the ball broke for John Martin out on the right and his low shot went in off the foot of the far post.

Man of the match Alan Cawley created the second goal on 72 minutes, crossing for Robbie Martin to finish with an unstoppable shot from close range.
