Silvestre: I'd prefer Henry to Ruud
Mikael Silvestre has revealed he would prefer to have Thierry Henry in his side than Manchester United team-mate Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Days after clinching a new four-year deal at Old Trafford the Frenchman has revealed his admiration for his compatriot - and admitted United were lacking strength in depth.
Asked if he had a preference between the two, he told the Daily Star: "I would take Henry because he is a lot faster. That is very important in English football, and Henry also gives a team more attacking options."
The Arsenal hitman has hit 18 goals so far this season to fire Arsenal to the top of the Premiership, but Dutchman van Nistelrooy is a goal ahead on 19.
United however have lost their last two games - at Blackburn and Middlesbrough - and have slipped seven points behind the champions.
