Bellamy sweats over UEFA ban

Newcastle striker Craig Bellamy may have to wait until Wednesday to discover the full extent of his punishment for his Champions League red card.

UEFA’s control and disciplinary panel will meet tomorrow afternoon to consider video evidence of the Welshman’s clash with Marco Materazzi just five minutes into his side’s 4-1 defeat by Inter Milan at St James’ Park on November 27.
