Shels close gap on Bohs

Late goals from Jim Gannon and Stephen Geoghegan moved Shels to within four points of leaders Bohemians.

The sides served up a dull first 45 minutes in what was one of the poorest Shels-St. Pat's match in some time.

But Gannon finally broke the deadlock when heading home after a Richie Baker free kick deflected off the Saints wall on 80 minutes.

Geoghegan then sealed the win with his seventh goal of the season in the last minute; shooting through Kelly's legs after good work by Wes Hoolohan.
