SPL clubs invited to meet to solve differences
The 12 Scottish Premier League clubs have been invited to another meeting in a bid to resolve differences between them.
Premier League chairman Lex Gold remains confident that a solution can be found to resolve āoutstanding issuesā between the clubs.
The future of the League was thrown into doubt when the 10 non-Old Firm sides resigned at the beginning of the season but divisions between those clubs now seem to be appearing.
Hearts chairman Chris Robinson ā one of the main movers behind the reform of the league ā resigned from the board of the SPL following the postponement of a meeting of representatives of all 12 clubs, which was due to take place at Hampden Park yesterday morning.
But Gold has invited all clubs to a meeting at the national stadium on December 9 in a bid to thrash out a solution.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider fresh proposals brought forward by the SPL Executive to resolve outstanding issues between the clubs.
He said: āI remain confident that, with good will on all sides, these matters can be resolved to the satisfaction of all 12 clubs and look forward to our meeting on Monday, December 9.ā
