Glenn Hoddle is backing Terry Venables to get it right at Leeds – if he is given the time to turn around the club’s flagging fortunes.

Tottenham boss Hoddle increased the pressure on his opposite number yesterday after his team beat Venables’ Leeds 2-0 at White Hart Lane.
