Injury crisis for Venables

Leeds boss Terry Venables faces an injury crisis ahead of tomorrow night’s Worthington Cup third round clash with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Venables is without a number of key players in skipper Dominic Matteo, Olivier Dacourt, Robbie

Fowler and Seth Johnson, while Lucas Radebe is almost certainly sidelined with a knee problem.

Among those doubtful for the game are Harry Kewell, Alan Smith, Teddy Lucic, Eirik Bakke and Stephen McPhail.
