Kerr announces squad for U-17 Euro qualifiers
Brian Kerr has named a squad of 22 players for the first qualifying phase of the European 2003 Under-17 Championships in Cork from October 21 to October 25, 2002.
The Republic have been paired with France, Germany and Slovenia with the top two going through to the second qualifying phase.
The finals of the Championship will be played in Portugal in May 2003.
The programme for the qualifying series in Cork is :
Monday, October 21.
France v Slovenia, Fermoy (2.30);
Republic of Ireland v Germany, Cobh (7.30).
Wednesday, October 23.
Slovenia v Germany, Buttevant (2.30);
Republic of Ireland v France, Turner’s Cross (7.30).
Friday, October 25.
Germany v France, Cobh (7.30);
Republic of Ireland v Slovenia, Turner’s Cross (7.30).
