Stringent rules that ban soccer games at Croke park will be spelt out to a UEFA committee who are due in Dublin today.

The GAA's associate president says that UEFA will be told in clear terms about the present policy.

It has also been confirmed in recent days that the GAA are going to turn down a Government request to use the newly restored stadium in Dublin for the 2008 European championships.

It is understood from the association's Central Council, that the GAA will only make Croke Park available to foreign sports if they feel the need to and not under any pressure.

Meanwhile, UEFA officials are due to travel to Scotland after inspecting Irish facilities over the next few days.
