Souness lashes Yorke and co
Graeme Souness claimed his Blackburn players "weren't prepared to put the extra effort in" as they lost a two-goal lead and drew 2-2 with Manchester City.
Kevin Keegan's side, who went down to 10 men when Danny Tiatto was sent off, came back to grab an unlikely point.
Souness claimed he was "disappointed, frustrated and cheesed off" at his own players' inability to hold on for victory.
Souness told Sky Sports Premiership Plus: "At 2-0 up and City down to 10 men the game was over. Their two goals were avoidable. If Dwight Yorke could run the extra five yards on their free-kick.... and for the second goal we were done on a one-two by a left-sided defender.
"We were not prepared to put in the extra yard of effort. When it really, really mattered we couldn't dig in.
"I could not begin to describe my frustration. Mine is as high as anyone else's could be."
