Keane set for Spurs switch

Leeds striker Robbie Keane is poised to beat tomorrow’s newly-imposed transfer deadline by signing for Spurs in a cut-price £7m (€11m) deal.

Keane expressed his bitter frustration at starting this season on the bench, despite the summer arrival of new boss Terry Venables.
