Saints keep faith with Jones

Paul Jones looks set to keep his starting place for the trip to Tottenham after impressing in Southampton's midweek draw with Chelsea.

Jones is expected to start ahead of new goalkeeper Antti Niemi, who will continue on the bench.

Tahar El Khalej will return to the squad after serving a three-game ban, but Jason Dodd is out with a back injury.

Claus Lundekvam is still out with a hamstring strain, so Michael Svensson will again start in defence.
