Alpay dismisses Galatasaray rumours

Alpay has dismissed rumours he is set for a summer switch to Galatasaray from Aston Villa.

The Turkey World Cup star - a rock during their march to third place in the World Cup - has been constantly linked with a move away from Villa Park.

But he told the club's official website: "There is no Galatasaray deal. I want to stay here at Villa Park.

"When the fans say 'Alfie go' I will go. But as long as they want me here at Aston Villa I will stay. I love it here and I love the fans."
