FULL-TIME: Germany 1 Korea 0

Germany end the Korean dream with a deserved win over the co-hosts in Seoul thanks to Michael Ballack's 75th-minute goal.

But the victory will have been bittersweet for Ballack, who, five muntes before scoring, had picked up a yellow card, his second of the tournament, which has put him out of the World Cup final.
