Blackburn Rovers today strengthened their squad for the new season with the signing of Marc Sebastian Pelzer from Kaiserslautern on a two-year deal.

Blackburn Rovers today strengthened their squad for the new season with the signing of Marc Sebastian Pelzer from Kaiserslautern on a two-year deal.

The 21-year-old left-sided German defender was on the fringes of the Bundesliga club last season and has impressed manager Graeme Souness on two separate trials.
