Argentina won't risk Caniggia for practice

Rangers striker Claudio Caniggia will not be risked in Argentina’s practice matches today.

Caniggia is recovering from an injury to his left knee and managed some light running.

But team doctor Donato Villani ruled out any chance of Caniggia facing J-League outfit Tokyo FC or Vegalta Sendai.

Argentina coach Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping Caniggia is ready in time for the opening match against Nigeria in Ibaraki on Sunday.
