Pompey interested in Cameroon international

Portsmouth have confirmed they are interested in signing Cameroon defender Raymond Kalla.

Harry Redknapp is favourite to land the 27-year-old after beating off competition from two Bundesliga clubs.

Redknapp will watch the player against England.

He said: "I'm looking very carefully at Kalla, I'm interested in taking him and I'll have another look at him this weekend."
