SPL sides close to resolving dispute
Scottish Premier League clubs have moved closer to peace following "constructive discussions" involving representatives of all 12 teams.
The renegade 10 non-Old Firm clubs have welcomed the return of Rangers and Celtic to the negotiating table.
The appeal of the game for Sky is likely to increase with the Old Firm involved with BBC Scotland so far the only institution to table a concrete bid. The Premiership, the Football Association and the Scottish FA have all dismissed a move to England for the Glasgow giants as impossible.
Consequently, Celtic and Rangers have returned to the negotiations, which originally broke down when the pair pulled out of the SPL TV discussions at the last minute.
