United set to clinch Beckham deal
Manchester United hope to announce that David Beckham has agreed to sign his new contract on Saturday.
The England skipper is expected to put pen to paper before United's final match of the season against Charlton at Old Trafford.
The deal will make Beckham the highest-paid player in Britain and his United salary will rocket by more than 300%.
Under the terms of his current contract, Beckham is believed to earn around £26,000-a-week (€41,000).
His new weekly take-home pay will reportedly be in the region of £90,000-100,000 (€161,000).
