Robert Pires is expected to decide tomorrow whether to undergo a knee operation.

The Arsenal winger's been ruled out of France's World Cup plans after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury during the Gunners' FA Cup win over Newcastle.

But tests on the player's knee have revealed it's responding exceptionally well to treatment.
