Arsenal have decided not to appeal the three-match ban handed down to striker Thierry Henry yesterday, meaning the Frenchman will miss the club’s next two Premiership games and the FA Cup clash with Newcastle on Saturday.

Henry received the ban for improper conduct after remonstrating with the referee following the Gunners’ defeat to Newcastle in December. According to the British Football Association’s website, Arsenal have decided not to appeal the punishment.
