Le Championnat: LeBeouf back in training

France defender Frank Leboeuf has resumed training with Marseille after a month’s absence due to a recurrent thigh injury.

The 33-year-old World and European champion could be back in action on Sunday for Olympique Marseille's clash with Lille in Le Championnat.

Leboeuf picked up the injury on December 21 during a 2-1 defeat to Lens and came back too soon, leading to a recurrence a month later in Marseille’s humiliating 4-0 defeat by Lyon.

The former Chelsea player also missed France’s 2-1 friendly win over Romania last Wednesday.
