Manchester United target Kevin Hofland insists he will only sign for the Premiership champions if he can be guaranteed a game.

Manchester United target Kevin Hofland insists he will only sign for the Premiership champions if he can be guaranteed a game.

The PSV Eindhoven defender, 22, has been linked with a move to Old Trafford to replace the ageing Laurent Blanc at the centre of the United defence.

Hofland however, made it plain he would not stand for being rotated.

He told the News of the World: "I want to play every week when I'm fit and I shall tell the coach (Alex Ferguson) when he phones.

"If he doesn't guarantee me that, I'm not interested in his club."

Hofland claims United are not the only interested party, with Spanish giants Real Madrid also in the frame.

He added "I'm waiting for the offers from those two clubs. Then I will choose between them."
