Three British footballers have denied charges of assault at a court appearance in London today.

Chelsea players Jody Morris and John Terry and Wimbledon defender Desmond Byrne were remanded on bail charged with causing actual bodily harm and affray.

The charges relate to an alleged assault on a bouncer at a private members’ club in central London on January 4th.
