UCD prevented Cork from joining Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers in joint leadership of the table with this shock win.

Alan McNally put UCD in the driving seat with the lead goal after just 10 minutes.

John Martin did the spade work to get in a good cross from the right and volleyed home from close range.

With Cork pressing for an equaliser, UCD hit them on the break for their second goal on 88 minutes.

Robbie Martin got to the end line to cross to give Mick O'Donnell a simple tap-in.
