First-half goals from Paul McNally and Fergal Coleman earned Longford a second win on the spin to lift them four points clear of the bottom three.

Skipper McNally led by example to head home the opener from Sean Prunty's corner on 29 minutes.

Town, now unbeaten in seven games, added their second goal a minute before

the break when Fergal Coleman stabbed home a Wes Byrne cross.
