Soccer: Pat's and Monaghan share the points

St Pat's title hopes were dealt a blow as they had to settle for a point

against bottom of the table Monaghan at Richmond Park.

Charles Mbabazi played a neat one-two with Liam Kelly out on the left to

finally carve open the Monaghan defence to score his ninth goal of the

season for the lead on 46 minutes.

But Bobby Browne's dogged Monaghan hit back. Trevor Vaughan twice came

close before Jonathan King set up midfielder Derek McGrath who lobbed over

Shay Kelly for a deserved equaliser on 76 minutes.
