World Cup: Scoreless at half-time in Iran
It's scoreless at the Azadi Stadium in the crucial second-leg of the World Cup play-off game between Iran and Ireland.
Both teams began nervously and Ireland appeared more fluent in their passing but by the end of the half, Iran were finishing the stronger and will rue one great missed chance through Ali Karimi.
The striker launched a header on goal after Irish captain Steve Staunton failed to clear a high ball under pressure. Fortunately for the Irish, Karimi's header went wide of Shay Given's post.
Up 'til then the Irish had defended well.
Latest score: Iran 0, Ireland 0
