Soccer: Kinsella to replace Keane on Thursday

Mark Kinsella will stand in for Roy Keane in the second leg of Ireland’s World Cup qualifier against Iran in Tehran this Thursday.

Keane underwent tests on his injured knee today and it appears that he may require surgery before he plays again.

An operation could leave the influential midfielder on the sidelines for three months.
