The Republic of Ireland will be within sight of a place in next year's World Cup if they avoid defeat in today's World Cup qualifier against Holland at Lansdowne Road.

Mick McCarthy's side top Group Two on 18 points.

A point today and a home win over Cyprus next month will secure second place.

In the other World Cup qualifiers, England are away to Germany, Northern Ireland are away to Denmark, Wales are at home to Armenia and Scotland host Croatia.
