Sven-Goran Eriksson has pleaded for peace when England take on Germany in their crunch World Cup qualifier in Munich on September 1.

The meeting between the two European heavyweights in Charleroi during Euro 2000 was marred by violence in the streets outside the ground both before and after England's 1-0 win.
