Premiership: Hammers snap up Hibic

West Ham have agreed a £2m fee for Atletico Madrid's Mirsad Hibic.

The Bosnian international was watched by Glenn Roeder last week.

And the Hammers boss was so impressed he moved to sign the defender.

However, the 28-year-old will miss Saturday's opener against Liverpool at Anfield as he is waiting for a work permit.
