Manchester United's new Stg£2.5m goalkeeper Roy Carroll has made his Reds debut in a reserve friendly against Sheffield FC.

Carroll, who joined United from Wigan last week, played the whole 90 minutes in the 3-2 victory against Sheffield, who are the oldest club in the world.
