Soccer: Hoddle set to reveal another new face

Tottenham manager Glenn Hoddle will unveil his second new signing at White Hart Lane this afternoon.

Spurs have called a press conference for 4pm, when they will introduce another new player.

Hoddle has been linked with Christian Ziege at Liverpool, Gustavo Poyet at Chelsea, Gareth Southgate at Aston Villa and Emmanuel Petit at Barcelona.

Spurs have already signed England striker Teddy Sheringham from Manchester United on a two-year contract this summer.

They have also agreed to sign Goran Bunjevcevic from Red Star Belgrade for a fee in the region of £5m later this month once the 27-year-old has played two more international matches and becomes eligible to receive a work permit.
