Soccer: Foran out of Under-21 squad as transfer collapses

A breach of curfew imposed by the Irish Under-21 management team last weekend has cost Richie Foran of Shelbourne dearly.

The young Dubliner has been dropped from the Irish squad for tonight's game with Estonia.

It has been a terrible 24 hours for Foran - a chance of establishing himself in Scotland has gone by the wayside after a £100,000 move to Aberdeen collapsed.

The decision is expected to seriously hit the coffers of the Tolka Park outfit.
