Premiership: Weah keen on Premiership comeback
George Weah has not ruled out a return to the Premiership next season.
The Liberian international left England under a storm cloud early in the season after quitting Manchester City.
He joined Olympique Marseille for the rest of the campaign with the French side hoping to tie up the player for another year - but Weah's agent revealed he would consider returning to England.
He said: "I think if there was an opportunity to come back to England he would. But I don't know how people look at the Man City situation.
"The way it was protrayed, it was all down to him.
"He'd suit someone on a short-term basis - maybe he'd be a good shout for a year for one of the teams who come up from the First Division."
Former Chelsea striker Weah has been lined up for a coaching role at Marseille, but his representative insisted nothing has been confirmed as yet.
He added: "He only really went there until the end of the season.
"They would like him to stay for another year but he's keeping his options open and he's in no rush.
"That's what he'd like to do because realistically he's only got one more year left playing.
"So I think he'd be looking to do something tied up with a coaching role if he stayed."
