Finn Harps tonight gave their own survival chances a boost by relegating Kilkenny City.

Both Harps goals came in a dominant first-half. The first arrived on nine minutes when Kevin Mchugh, played through by Niall Bonner, shot past Matt Nelson.

Harps added a second killer goal on 42 minutes.

Jonathan Minnock played a one-two with Fergal Harkin to put himself through on goal and he shot past Nelson.
