Peter Kenyon has ruled out any imminent talks over who will take over from Sir Alex Ferguson as Manchester United boss next year.

Ferguson plans to step down as manager at the end of next season with number two Steve McLaren tipped to take over the Old Trafford hot-seat.

The Reds are firmly on course to win their seventh Premiership title in the last nine years and are in the last eight of the Champions League.

"We have a full further 12 months of Sir Alex in charge and discussions as to his replacement we will get into much later," Kenyon told Sky News.

"The emphasis now is on getting the results this year."
