Premiership: Goram is not fazed by Champions League

Manchester United's new goalkeeper Andy Goram admits that he would relish playing in the Champions League against Bayern Munich if selected.

Manchester United's new goalkeeper Andy Goram admits that he would relish playing in the Champions League against Bayern Munich if selected.

The 36-year-old Scotland star says that no amount of pressure will affect his performances.

He's been there, done it and has the T-shirt, having reached the European Cup semi-final with Rangers.

"That's the good thing - I've done it before," Goram told ManUtd.com, after signing forms at Old Trafford.

"I've not won the Champions League, obviously, but we got to the semi-finals, and played against Fabien Barthez for Marseille the year they won it. Then we had Juventus and Ajax the season after, so it doesn't worry me.

"I'm glad I've had the experience. Without it, I think I could have struggled here. Having played in the Champions League and in Old Firm games, nothing down here is going to faze me."
