Soccer: Roma protest over cup tie referee

Roma have appealed to Uefa to force a replay of their midweek match at Anfield.

The Serie A leaders have lodged an official complaint, claiming that Spanish referee Jose Maria Garcia-Aranda had awarded them a penalty kick in the fourth round second leg Uefa Cup tie, only to change his mind and give a corner.
