Man United reward Marouane Fellaini with extended deal

Marouane Fellaini has completed a turnaround from Manchester United misfit to hero as the club opted to trigger a 12-month extension to his current deal.

Fellaini, signed from Everton for £27.5m in 2013, has lacked some support from the stands but always retained his team-mates’ belief.

Fellaini would have been a free agent in the summer if the club had not taken up the contract extensino. Now he will be at Old Trafford until summer 2018.
