Sky set to broadcast 33 games with 3pm Saturday starts

Everton v Tottenham will launch a new experience for Irish viewers on August 13 — Saturday 3pm matches live on Sky Sports.

Sky have secured Irish rights to English football’s traditional kick-off time for the first time and will broadcast 33 games matches in that slot during the 2016/17 season, beginning at Goodison Park on the opening weekend. These games will not be broadcast live in the UK.

In all, Sky Sports will offer Irish customers a record 159 Premier League games during the new campaign, up 43 on last season.
